ENGR. FOLORUNSO B. ESAN (DIRECTOR HIGHWAYS CONSTRUCTION AND REHABILITATION)
Engineer Folorunso Benjamin Esan was born to the family of Mr Gabriel Oni Esan and Madam Olamide Elizabeth Esan of Olapete quarters Ilesa Osun State on 24th October, 1963. He attended Christ Apostolic Church Primary School Okesa Ilesa between 1970 and 1975. He proceeded to Ijebu – Jesa Grammar School Ijebu-Jesa Osun State where he obtained the WASC in July 1981. He graduated from University of Ibadan with Bachelor of Science Degree Honours in Civil Engineering in July 1986.
Engr. Esan proceeded to the then Cross River State for his National Youth Service which he completed in September, 1987. Engr. Esan was appointed Civil Engineer grade 1 to the Federal Ministry of Works in January 1989 and has since being promoted to a Director in the Federal civil service.
He is currently serving at the Federal Ministry of Works and Housing Headquarters Mabushi, Abuja. He is a member of a number of professional bodying such as Fellow Nigerian Society of Engineers (Fellow,Nigerian Society of Engineers), COREN and the Nigerian Institute of Highway Engineers.
He has the following awards to his credit:-
* Cathedral awardee as the Akorede Ijo (2005)
* Pillar of progress award (Akure Circuit September, 2014)
* Award of outstanding performance in keeping a Christian Home (July,2013) (Methodist Cathedral Otapete Ilesa)
* Fellow Arch diocese of Igbobin (FAI) October,2016
Engr. Esan is married to Mrs Omolola Abidemi Esan and blessed with four (4) children Babatunde, Wuraola, Deborah and Fesobi.
